My Capsule Wardrobe

I have a capsule wardrobe and I’ve spent a good deal of time and money making it so I thought it would be nice to share it with the world.

A capsule wardrobe is basically just a small, deliberately chosen wardrobe with lots of multi-function and multi-season pieces that last a long time and look nice.

This list isn’t meant to be a measuring stick to judge your own wardrobe against, nor is it written in stone. Even well made, durable things wear out and they can’t always be replaced with the exact same thing. So this is just a snapshot of what I’m wearing right now, thanks for checking it out!

To call this a ‘minimalist’ wardrobe would be a stretch. There’s definitely some pairing down that could be done if needed, but this suits my needs perfectly at the moment. Everything gets worn regularly throughout the year and there’s no single item that I don’t really enjoy wearing.

Everything currently fits in a small closet shared with my wife, two regular dresser drawers, one tiny sock drawer and one bin under the bed for bulky winter gear.

I hope this wardrobe overview helps you on your own journey towards a more intentional wardrobe. If you have any suggestions or want to share your own wardrobe, I’d love to hear it! Leave a comment below or drop me a line.
